    I beg to differ on this matter; however take my advice with a large
    grain of salt as this is a product that my company makes.
    Configuresoft's Enterprise Configuration Manager 4.8 is a fantastic tool
    for network reporting. Not only does ECM monitor servers and
    workstations for compliance and patch issues it also makes users
    friendly reports (or lets you make your own). Before you buy a product I
    would strongly encourage you to at least visit our website @
    www.configuresoft.com and talk to someone about the pros and cons of ECM
    in your specific environment.
    Please don't take this wrong, I don't want this to sound like a sales
    pitch; it is just my view as an IT admin

    Microsoft's "MM" is about the only monitoring tool that is enterprise
    ready; however, it's not that good or simple. Net-IQ with MM is about

    best combo in the market today.
