Hi,
While running the 'make test' for Samba 3 on AIX 5.3, I've been
getting a problem with the nmblookup calls.The name query calls fail
with the error "name_query failed to find name ". The same calls
don't generate any errors on AIX 5.2 and only occur when using the
socket wrapper library.
An examination of nmbd.log shows the following repeating lines:
requested bytes: 576
read socket failed. ERRN=A system call received a parameter that is not valid.
I've used the following commands :
i. ./autogen.sh
ii. ./configure <prefix
iii. make
iv. make test
This is the output of 'make test' :

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is this caused by a
mis-configuration or a code defect?
