Bottom line: If you want this working in your mail app, use
SeaMonkey.
Excuse my tardy reply, but Sea Monkey is not really necessary as this
feature works well in the regular builds of Thunderbird 1.5.0.1 &
1.5.0.2 for S/2.
Will you be activating it in your builds of PmWTb?

I didn't deactivate anything. You can track any progress to solve this

Since this function works as designed in the standard build of 1.5.0.2
(20050420), it was natural for me to presume that it was not activated
in your build, Therefore, I find it strange that a bug report was made
and of course would not have thought to look in Bugzilla.
