Message/Edit Message As New
Change the Mail To field entries, and remove the Fwd: preamble in
the Subject field, if there and if you want to.
Send it to yourself to test it out.
Personally I find it a pain to edit FW's to get rid of the header
stuff that ends up in the body of the email as well. It's fairly
easy to get rid of, because it is in a table that has the little
editing gizmos on it. However, it would be nice to have an option
so that the headers are not added to the body of forwarded messages.
The "Edit Message As New" method, as I described, does not add the
header information (for this instance) as when Forwarding does.
If the mail received was already forwarded previously (which may
have been forwarded multiple times), then one has to edit the body
content to remove those as well, if so desired, along with the
multiple Fwd: preambles in the Subject field. There is no way to
automatically strip those. Editing gets a little more involved if
one wants to send a clean mail by removing the blockquote tags.

"Edit Message As New" is not a workaround, it is a feature.

To each his own preference, however, the mail still gets quoted,
whereas with using "Edit Message As New", your mail does not get
quoted and no Fwd: Header is generated. Those are the only reason for
it, therefore you have to edit whatever else you feel should be edited
in your received mail. I find it not too inconvenient to highlight an
address and press the Delete button.
I find "Edit Message As New" to be especially useful for HTML Mail.

To have the addresses also deleted with "Edit Message As New"?
What about when you want to respond to all those addresses? Then you
would have to reenter all of them. I like it the way it is.
Hmmm, you mis-understand. I do not want to change TB buttons working the
way they do, just maybe have the behaviour modified via some option
somewhere (ie: personalisation).
What might be kinda neat, is to have a "macro" button that can execute a
series of TB functions so we can all have a button that does exactly
what we individually want :o) maybe I should add that to the wishlist.
