    This is a bug report for perl from jmax (AT) gnaa (DOT) us,
    generated with the help of perlbug 1.35 running under perl v5.8.8.
    perlref says "The *glob notation is something of a symbolic reference.", it
    should not. This is a very misleading statement, and can be interpreted in
    a way which is incorrect.
