Summary: cannot make folder at startup on dIMAP account
    Product: kmail
    Version: 1.9
    Platform: unspecified
    S/Version: Linux
    Status: UNCNFIRMED
    Severity: normal
    Priority: NR
    Component: general
    AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
    ReportedBy: auspex pointerstop ca
    Version: 1.9 (using KDE 3.5 (RC1), Kubuntu Package 4:3.5-rc1-0ubuntu0breezy1 )
    Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
    S: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-9-686
When starting KMail, I frequently get a pop-up window saying something like "cannot make folder INBX" (I'll post exact text next time it happens). This is not surprising since the INBX folder already exists. It also happens occasionally for subfolders. Interestingly, the inbox folder is usually named "inbox" but after getting this message it becomes "INBX" - for this run only. Next time you start KMail, it will be "inbox" again. When the error occurs for other folders, their names never change.
This has only happened since upgrading to kde3.5/kmail 1.9
