    As much as I like FF, I am really getting agrivated that the
    javascript doesn't work on many sites.
    I know, those sites are not compatible with the standard.
    Well maybe that is another M$ plot, but it happens too often and I am
    tired of it.
    Can't something be done on FF end to get sloppy and let it work?
    This will send a lot of people back to IE

    well, I tried v1.07 and it works.
    V1.5 rc2 does nothing.

    am I missing something?

    Try 1.5 rc3; worked for me.

    Did you uninstall 1.07 first or install over?

    Try a new profile.

    Your profile is separate from the program directory. Did you also
    remove that? Your profile contains all your settings, prefs,
    bookmarks, cookies, etc

    I removed everything related to Firefox under the Documents and Settings
    folder and under the Program Files folder.

    Yes, it's a Microsoft plot, as usual when something comes, they copy and
    modify it so that they kind of gets a new standard and as most people are
    using Microsoft only, which makes it seems that their modifications are the
    standard javascript java and much more has had this
