Some days ago i build kdenetwork from branch_3.5 with (like
i always do) and it was built fine.
Today i updated kdenetwork in branch_3.5 and i saw that there was many
updated line regarding kopete, so i took a look and saw that now
kopete-0.12.2 was ported to kdenetwork branch_3.5 and with it also camed
the kopete-0.12.2 bug regarding using , since to build
kopete-0.12.2 is must be with else gives error.
So now its only possible to build kdenetwork from branch_3.5
with (due to the latest kopete port) else will give this
error:
error:
expected `)' before '*' token
Error creating
Exit status 1.
Please fix this kopete so continue being possible using
(that i always use in kde builds)
I suggest to not use at all

Why? That worked for quite some time and should work now as well. In
worst case it is possible to disable enable-final only for the
problematic directory.

If you want to use so bad, then you fix it. I'm not interested
in fixing something that I feel is broken

course to be able to build now kdenetwork i was forced to desactivate
the option and use but this is only due to a
kopete-0.12.2 bug as i said in previous message.
We take patches. If you fix it, we'll commit it, but I won't spend my time
attempting to fix something I don't use.

It is not so broken, many people use it, and somewhen it was required
that KDE should be able to be built using I fixed lot
of issues in the past. Yes, it is broken only with unsermake, but that
is unsermake's fault As I use unsermake now I don't want to mess now
with it, but it should not be more than adding
KDEPTIN=nofinal
to the Makefile.am where it breaks.
