Anitian Enterprise Security (www.anitian.com), one of the nation’s leading information security and network infrastructure firms has an immediate opening for a Senior Security Analyst. This is an outstanding position for ambitious and self-motivated technology person who wants to be part of one of the Northwest’s best companies. You will work with both public and private companies to conduct information security assessments and audits as well as assist with the selection, installation and use of security technologies.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Conduct security assessments (penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, auditing)
- Writing and developing security policies, procedures and guidelines for organizations based on established security baselines such as IS 17799, ITIL or CobIT.
- Advise clients on good security practices and processes.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and manage network and security technologies
- Work with customers to identify, remediate and test solutions.
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls and other components of enterprise networks.
- Assist sales staff with pre-sales engineering support.
- General internal IT functions (system & network administration)
- Write reports and documentation.
JB REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS
The following items are required to be considered for this position:
- College degree
- CISSP certification.
- CISA or CISM certifications are a big plus.
- Experience conducting penetration tests or security assessments.
- Ability to use a wide array of security testing tools such as Qualys, ISS Scanner, Metasploit, Nessus, and many more.
- Good knowledge of IT operations and best practices.
- Networking experience, preferably with large, enterprise networks.
- Demonstrated experience with security technologies such as IPS/IDS, firewalls, content filtering, encryption, etc.
- Ambitious and self-motivated to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex business technology problems with expertise and ingenuity.
- Must be willing to travel to customer sites and work with a wide range of people and personalities.
CNSIDERATINS
- This is a FULL-TIME position at the Anitian offices (no working from home)
- Compensation will be base salary + bonuses.
- Benefit package includes medical, dental, etc.
- travel around the Pacific Northwest. Typically about 2-3 days per month.
