AmbironTrustwave, a world leader in compliance and security solutions is seeking a security consultant to join it's western region consulting group.
This individual will be performing both onsite security consulting engagements, as well as offsite assessments and policy/procedure reviews.
This position is based in the western region of the US. Candidates do not necessarily need to be in Denver.
JB REQUIREMENTS
* A strong background in host (*nix/Windows) and network security.
* An understanding of various industry security standards and related auditing tasks (PCI-DSS, SX, HIPAA, GLB, etc).
* Previous experience working on client facing engagements.
* Expert level competency in evaluating security architecture in heterogeneous environments.
* Thorough understanding of TCP/IP.
* Strong understanding of database security.
* Strong understanding of encryption.
* Experience using network security assessment tools (Nessus, nmap, etc).
* At least 3 years prior experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate will also posess the following:
* Certifications - Visa QDSP, CISSP, GCIA.
* Previous experience in penetration testing/ethical hacking.
* Experience with mainframe security (S400, VMS).
