Try this: (it wont hurt anything to try).
/ ? this will try to do a reconfiguration
This may be all you have to do, or you could do this:
/usr/sbin/rsct/bin/rmcctrl ? stops all the deamons
/usr/sbin/rsct/bin/rmcctrl ? starts (Adds?) all the deamons
    /usr/sbin/rsct/bin/rmcctrl ? resets Peer conections

    Hi,
i use Web SM to have remote access to the HMC. there are a few servers that
are available in the servers and partitions management. all of
them are inthe running or active state but one server says not connected
connecting to 000.000 etc etc. i am able to enter the server through telnet
or putty or reflections but unable to open a terminal window through the web
sm HMC. this is a new server which was in running state earlier. called IBM
but i keep getting forwarded to so many places without proper assistance.
could anyone tell me whats going on. i will try to answer any further
questions regarding the same so as to solve this issue. the computer icon
inside the system has a "not available" displayed and a right click on this
system gives only one option "Add Managed System(s)". any help is
    appreciated. Thanks in advance.
