ok,
could somebody please explain me what makes Java3D project so special
when it concerns lightweight rendering? I mean JGL has it, Axiatrix has
it, but not Java3D?
My guesses are:
1. Nobody needs JCanvas3D. The developers have their own solutions
for that.
2. It is EXTREMELY difficult to implement due to Java3D project
architecture.
3. Lack of human resources.
4. The decision to wait for JDK7 release was taken.
5. ?
I would really appreciate if somebody could enlighten me (and others) on
this.
