    Why does this list get so many of these scam letters?
    We're a pretty sophisticated audience, wrt internet scam's.
    But I have to go to my bank now, I just got a letter from a new friend in Nigeria;
    Who is offering me a great opportunity.

    Because it's an easily found e-mail address, not moderated, and earlier
    attempts at doing more restrictive filtering (i.e., blocking dynamic
    IPs) didn't really work out due to quite a few people running their own
    mailservers?

    Plus, it's not well-known enough to make it into any 'don't spam this or
    you'll end up in grave trouble' lists. Maybe if we started reporting
    every spam that came through?
