That's cool. I wanted to get into KDE 4 development anyway.

    Hi,

you can follow the instructions on:

And please tell me, if there's something wrong or unclear, or fix it
    yourself :)

Question: Is cmake 2.4.2 needed/suggested, or is 2.4.1 okay?

    Greetings,
    David

Here's a my first KDE contribution, a patch to let Krdc map up local resources
such as Disk drives and Printers to the remote computer. The patch is for KDE
3.5 branch. If it looks good I can adapt it to TRUNK. Guess that will take
    some time though since I don't have a KDE4 dev-enviroment yet.

You'll have to that though as such a feature can hardly be accepted for KDE

While you're doing this consider if you would be interested in taking
over KRDC maintainership. KRDC has been unmaintained for almost 2
years now and desperately needs someone to put some time into it. If
the idea interests you, send me an email and I can tell you more.
