  • AlphaServer 1000a built-in audio

    I don't know the specific place to send this e-mail to, so it goes to the two places I think can use it.
    Anyway, on alpha.html at "AlphaServer 800, 1000 and 1000A" in the "Supported Machines" section, there is stated that the built-in audio doesn't work on the AlphaServer 800, 1000 and 1000A. But I don't know if you mean the 'beep', because that is recognized by the kernel and it works on my AlphaServer 1000A. This is what dmesg says: "isabeep0 at pcpi0"

    Heh. And that's probably the only way listeneing humppa on these alphas.
    I don't think any of the 800, 1000 or 1000A have builtin audio, so
    alpha.html could be wrong anyway on this.
