Subject: [ibm-aix-l] Creating RAID0 Logical Volumes in AIX
Hi
Making some Logical Volumes for an DB on SAN based LUN
devices created as RAID1 my customer asked me to create those LV
as Striping ones. I know i can create a RAID0 in order to
improve performance, But i also know that AIX has two modes of
striping data accross disks devices. is the setting of the
Set Inter-policy to MAXIMUM, and the other option is setting the
striped unit size of the chunk to be written/read in every I/
operation.
What's the best practice in this case?
TIA
