Just so everybody is aware, I will be breaking Kopete within the next week or
so (as time permits) as I start to implement a model/view structure for the
contact list in Kopete. I'll post a draft version here for review before
committing and will integrate comments as they're receieved.

is there a previous post, or can you explain shortly some details on which
classes will all be splitted?

There's no splitting involved. I'm redoing the whole entire contact list.
custom view will be replaced with the appropriate Qt View class that works
with the model, etc.

You can see some details of what i want to accomplish at
http://matt.rogers.name/wiki (while it's the same url, and looks mostly the
same, i'm not touting it as a kopete wiki, just my own personal idea space)
