    Hi there
I just made a new issue in Eventum. Everything was working okay before but now I'm being bombarded with error message emails (even though the issue was sent out to the users):
    Hello,
An error was found at 11/23/2005 10:51:02 (1132764662) on line '222' of script '/'.
The error message passed to us was:
'unable to add recipient [hemant@users_domain]: Invalid response code received from server'
A more detailed error message follows:
    ''
That happened on page '/' from IP Address 'XX.X.XXX.XXX' coming from the page (referrer) ''.
The user agent given was 'Wget/1.9+cvs-stable (Red Hat modified)'.

I'm having to use this statement every few minutes the cronjob runs as the
errors pile up in the table: DELETE FRM eventum_mail_queue WHERE maq_status
    = 'error'

I've looked at the other posts re: this error and they dont help me much.
Checked with my host who have checked the mail logs and they cant seem to
find any error with the mail server

    Any help really appreciated.

    TIA

Are you sure that the email addresses are correct? ie from or to fields.
The email server might check whether the addresses are valid and reject
them (as normal operation so no error log) if found incorrect

The user you specified 'hemant@users_domain' doesn't appear to be valid.
I assume your SMTP server is rejecting that address.

If you want to remove this email, check the mail queue for messages with
a status of 'error' and delete them.

I talked to my web host Admin and we added the IP of the eventum site to the
mail server. Now no errors are being produced. Great.

Thanks to all that helped. Still - I'm not sure if thats the correct
workaround to the Invalid response code etc etc. Anyone know the correct
resolution for future users or even forgetful ones?

The user you specified 'hemant@users_domain' doesn't appear to be valid. I
assume your SMTP server is rejecting that address.

If you want to remove this email, check the mail queue for messages with a
status of 'error' and delete them.
