Chip,
ELA is not related to the 2512 return code. The ELA is only there as an
accept/not accept option during the installation phase of DP - if
you accept it then the product installs, otherwise the installation exits
without installing. The return code of 2512 means that DP could not
open "/" file.
So, I need to ask weather you obtained your DP code base from a CD
or the Passport Advantage site or did you use the FTP site to download
your installation package? The short of it is, if you installed from the
FTP site then your package will not contain the agent.lic file. The was
discussion on this just this morning on ADSM-Lyou will need the base
package from either a CD or from the Passport Advantage site.

We installed the ELA, but it does not show up in oracle/bin64 (?)
Everything was seemingly done by the book, but obviously something is
amiss.
/facts? I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the ELA.
