That's fine, leave it half-assed. Great idea. If you want me to fix the
whole thing, I'll fix the whole thing and clarify entry -- but if no one
will commit, I'm not going to waste my time. All people do is whine if it
isn't the way they way; why not send your own ****ing patches (not to you
Bob, others that have mailed me privately whining about entries in the diff
that were just the for context).

You seem to have it backwards: it's your submission, so you are
responsible for incorporating people's changes and making *your*
diff become acceptible. Not others' job. If you can't make
it so, just drop it instead of swearing and showing frustration
and emotions on a technical mailing list which will only make
more people ignore you.
