    Hi !
A management staff member asked me a question, but I coudn't find the
answer. Where does the accounting start time comes from ?
We use freeradius, and I cound traced in it's souce code that it comes from
the portmasters (I think). But where does HE takes his time ? I can't find a
command related to date/time, and I don't remember having to setup time on
    our PM3's
    Thanks,

The PM-2 and PM-3 don't have any concept of time except seconds since
last boot. Any time stamp must be a function of the radius server.

The accounting time is the time the radius server receives the packet
minus the accounting delay time in the radius packet. No real time clock
is needed in the NAS gear with this system which was probably why it was
    chosen.
