Hi,
First, thanks for a great product!
I have just managed to get most of the email integration with Eventum
working, with one exception; getting automatic creation of new issues from
incoming emails.
I have set up routing based on address. It works fine to send emails to
issues on the form issue_42 (AT) somewhere (DOT) com, but I can't for my life figure
out how to send an email that result in the creation of an issue.I have set
up an email account for the project, and have turned on "automatic issue
creation", and filled in the details about category and status (etc.) to
use.
My email server is set up so that 'anything'@somewhere.com goes to an email
account called issue.tracker (AT) somewhere (DOT) com, this is the account set up to be
read by eventum.
I have tried emailing issue.tracker (AT) somewhere (DOT) com as well as
issue_0 (AT) somewhere (DOT) com and issue_ (AT) somewhere (DOT) com
Eventum is setup to use "issue_" as prefix for the routing. The emails sent
using "issue_" or "issue_0" are processed by Eventum (at least as far as I
see them disappearing from the mail inbox), but they do not show up anywhere
inside Eventum. The emails on the form issue.tracker (AT) somewhere (DOT) com (in fact,
anything but "issue_ . @somewhere.com") are left on the mail server, marked
as read. That is the only trace of Eventum doing something with these
emails.
So How is it supposed to work? My guess was that anything other than
"issue" should be treated as creation of a new issue. Is that correct?
I am very greatful if someone can help me solve my issue?
Regards
Henrik Lindberg
