    Strange
Is there any particular reason why the freenode-irc-channel is
prioritised before irc.icdevgroup.org on this page:
    ?

Is there any particular reason why you think that the freenode
channel is prioritized on that page ?

It's as the first option :-)

Not any more. Reload until it is first -- there is now random
    selection.

    C00L :-)

but the randomness still prefers the set FreeNode as first. I made
some testing, and from 20 reloads, Freenode was 14 times as the first
    option ;-)

I thought for fun to see the conspiracy to promote FreeNode, but the
    following scary thing happened:
    20 reloads: 10xFreeNode - 10xICdevgroup

    *shivers* :)

Completely random chance. Next time, you will have just as much opportunity
for the other to have 14 times.

What's the point of this discussion? I personally prefer Freenode,
simply for the reason of "anti-camping" policy, but both channels are
almost empty, and even if they weren't I think this is the last thing to
    be argued here.

There were more comments on channels then there are people using them :)
