If you are @ AIX 5.2 or higher ( correct me if it is available in AIX
5.1 ) you will use the /etc/tunables vs. vmtune commands in
    /etc/inittab.
it would be better to put all the commands in a script like
/etc/rc.local or /etc/rc.tune and call that from /etc/inittab vs each
    individual entry

Subject: [ibm-aix-l] Placing vmtune entries into /etc/inittab
    Hello everyone,
I was going over my performance tuning manual and found some
recommendations to use the vmtune command. I need to see examples of
inittab entries so I know if I use this I will be putting them in
correctly. Can someone provide an example for me?
    Thanks,
    james
