Hi
Can you please check the crontab ( crontab -e) jobs on the machine to
see if there is cron job that is scheduled to do some system dumps which
may prevent the cron job from running at the scheduled time

Subject: [ibm-aix-l] Cronjob not working at 2:30am
Hi All,
=20
I have got a cron job configured to run at 2:30am in the morning. The
entry is given below.
The issue is that it appears not to be working at that time. I have got
some echo statements
In the script which will send a mail once the job is done so I am sure
it is not running.
The peculiar thing though is that if I schedule the job for say 2pm
(14:00hrs) or some other
Time during the day, the job runs (it is just a tar backup to tape)

I am beginning to suspect it may have something to do with my time
setting/locale etc.

The date on the system is given below:

bash-3.00# date
Wed May 10 13:03:17 NFT 2006

Thanks a lot.
